In this post you'll find the first shots I captured with the Samsung Galaxy S6. I was very happy with the opportunity to walk around the Samsung booth for about 15 minutes with a brand new Galaxy S6 to see how it performed. Circumstances are far from "ideal" but nevertheless I'll think you'll find it interesting to see what I got.
Still a few days ahead, so here's a first general impression of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, with some several shots I captured in Barcelona and at the Congres itself. There's not much news to share yet and to be honest I'm not expecting anything that will blow me away the next days - but one never knows.
If you're looking for news, this post is not for you, sorry. These are just some random thoughts about my preparations for my trip to the Mobile World Congress 2015 - figuring out what to see, what to skip and which devices to bring is something that can keep my mind really busy.
With well over 4 million registered members, Sammobile is the biggest community about Samsung devices. Although run from The Netherlands instead of South-Korea, Sammobile is always extremely well informed. Yesterday the site confirmed the new Galaxy S6 will have a 16MP sensor, instead of the rumoured 20MP. T-Mobile used a first official picture on its website today.
This is my second post with shots I captured with both the Nokia 808 PureView and the Panasonic Lumix DMC-CM1. You'll find the first post here - yes it's been a while and I hope to do more soon. These shots were taken in perfect light during extreme great weather and in .JPG only. Let me start with a few words about that first.
Working on Windows 8.1 I was reminded that for some odd reason Microsoft decided to remove Picture Manager since Office 2013. Not everyone uses it, but I love it and it has been a reason for me to keep using Office 2010 for quite a while. But there is a way to get Microsoft Office Picture Manager running on your newest PC and laptop - here's how.
It took about ten weeks but if finally arrived, the leather case for my Panasonic Lumic DMC-CM1. I'm thrilled to have finally received it, but I'm also a bit underwhelmed by its sheer size. Of course, the device has to fit, but somehow this case seems incredibly huge to me. In this post you'll see what I mean.
It's exactly two weeks before the Mobile World Congress will start. Two major companies have already planned their announcements on Sunday, one day before the official start of the annual event. Huawei will be first in the afternoon, Samsung will be organizing its Unpack Event the same evening. Microsoft will give the very first press conference from the official Congress, early Monday morning, like Nokia always used to. I hope to be attending all three annoucements.
