Night shots at ISO 100 with the Nokia 808 PureView, Lumia 1020 and Lumia 1520
Returning from work late in the evening a few days ago, I came across a scene that was really begging to be captured: a big brightly lit kitchen warehouse in my home town.
I remembered the advise to put my camera on 100 ISO for as less possible noise in the shot, so that's what I did with the Nokia 808 PureView, the Lumia 1020 and 1520.
I've been trying to find the time to "analyze" the shots myself - zoom in to 100% and make crops or screenshots like I always do, (you know the drill) - but I simply haven't found the time, and it looks like I'll be too busy for the next few days as well, so I will just share these results "as is".
You'll find the resized shots here, you will find all results in a dedicated set on Flickr. I needed to make two shots with the Nokia 808 PureView to get both the high and PureView resolution, but afterwards the 8MP shot appeared to be unsusable, so you'll only find the 34MP version on Flickr (sorry about that).
I chose to for 5MP/34MP on the Lumia 1520, for a fair comparison with the current Lumia 1020 (still not being on "Black" that is). I will capture some more raw .DNG shots with the Lumia 1520 in the near future for those interested to work with them, I promiss.
Hover your mouse over the shots to see which phone was used, click on the shot to see the original on Flickr. Hope you'll enjoy having a closer look at these results yourself, and don't hesitate to let me know what you think of these results! :-)
