On request: some great Nokia Lumia Icon shots

Remember I've been begging for the Nokia Lunia Icon to test out the camera, see what it's like to work with? As far as I know the camera is exactly the same as in the Nokia Luia 1520. It's 20MP PureView technology in a different design, which happens to be exactly the same as from the Nokia Lumia 930.

Still it would interest me to see what it's like to work with this different design, and I hope I won't have to wait too long since the Lumia 930 is coming to Europe soon. A bit smaller display - however gorgeous that of the Lunia 1520 is - and a bit better hardware camera button as well. More about that soon, I hope.

Also, I've been asking people in my timeline to provide me with some shots captured with the Nokia Lumia Icon. And I was lucky to get in touch with one of the most talented mobile photographers I know, Antti Tassberg from Finland, who actually can use the Lumia Icon since he works at Nokia. You'll find his work on Flickr here.

Mr. Tassberg was kind enough to provide me with some unique material: a few of the shots he all captured in raw .DNG and edited in Lightroom. What he sent me were the resized versions (640 wide) to share here.

Since a few of these shots are in black and white, I'd also like to point you to the new contest over at Nokia Conversations, where they organized a new contest to win a Nokia Lumia 1020.

Ready for the season

All these artful shots were captured in raw .DNG with the Nokia Lunia Icon by Antti Tassberg, who edited them in Lightroom. It makes me look forward to work with the Nokia Lumia 930 even more, and I hope we won't have to wait too long before it lands here in The Netherlands.

I'd like to thank mr. Tassberg for his unique shots and hope you've enjoyed them as well. And if you like what I'm doing here at the PureViewClub, please consider supporting me - there's a button on the right side of this page :-)
