A black & white coincidence...

Life is funny sometimes. I'm used to seeing more colorful pictures everyday shot with the Nokia 808 PureView, and now all of a sudden people send me three black&white pictures. First was Marius Torsan from Rumania. He is one of the persons working on MobileArt project, that also has a page on Facebook. In this project, they are trying to achieve a new look on reality, but only captured with cellphones. There is one other rule: a picture only can be edited on the same smartphone it was made with. Quite simple. He sent me two pictures, the first is called "Tour de France" (since he knows we appear to have a passion for that sport in The Netherlands, a passion I happen not to share  ;-). The second one (you already saw it on the frontpage) has a bit more pretentious title: "Where the lights come from". It's poetic, I like stuff like that. The picture is intriguing, I think, I'm curious if you like this kind of aristic photography. Now the third one was sent to me via Twitter, linking to the Flickr Account of Amish Shah from India. As far as I understand he recently got hold of the Nokia 808 PureView and is now testing it at full speed. This is the result he sent me, a "simple" black & white close up of a dandelion. Love it. He just promised me there were more pictures coming my way, I'm looking forward to it! And only one day later I received this one, by one of the very first fans of this blog, Joyce. Happy to share her first B/W picture with the Nokia 808 PureView here on this site as well, you'll find the original format here.
