Focusing again with the Nokia 808 PureView

After my thoughts on Elop, it's time to focus on PureView again - like you should with a Nokia 808 PureView: focus. I didn't have the chance to blog a whole lot this weekend, because all blog and no play makes Jack a dull boy.

In this post you will find a few nice shots from the last days. Nothing too pretentious, just sharing the fun and amazement of using the Nokia 808 PureView. First of all: a fly on a flower. Not that I like flies, but I love to be able to make pictures like these :-)

And here he is again, cropped from the original 8MP size...

15 more pics after the break!

If you are into classic cars, how about this one? A Mercedes SL190 from 1961. Not for sale, but you would need about €97.000 if it would be...

More cars, but now a close-up from a collection of miniature versions of another classic: the Citroen DS :-)

Another close-up, from a (very) old piano keyboard...

More old stuff: an old, huge riding stable...

Same thing, now mirrored in the inside windows.

When in a Dutch stable...

And if you're at a riding stable, horses can't be far...

One more lovely animal - a very sweet cat I considered kidnapping (or catnapping).
Here she is trying to hypnotise me. Totally worked.

More living creatures: a mushroom I have never seen before in my life (anyone who knows what kind this is?)

Something else that's growing in my neighbourhood. I know the name in Dutch, I'd love to know the English word for it!

And to be honest, I don't even know the Dutch name for what grows here...

Roses are always a joy to picture... The amount of detail on the original is lovely. I hope to publish all originals on Flickr soon. All my previously published pictures are here.

Some more flowers..

Back to work: this is a building nearby where I do my daily job, a building where I made some early pictures with the Nokia 808, also on the inside, as you can see in this post.

And to end this picture show, this is not a crop, but an original shot from the front.

That's all folks: a selection from my shots of the last week or so. Hope you enjoyed these, maybe they inspired you to get a Nokia 808 PureView yourself if you don't own one already. And if you do have one already: happy shooting!
