Just a few shots from a grey day at the beach

I guess I'm lucky it's a holiday week here in The Netherlands and I have a lot of time to spend with my family. News on PureView is quite slow once again, everybody is waiting for the Lumia 920 it seems. I still love to use my Nokia 808 PureView every day, but I'll be glad when the wait is over and check what the new kind of PureView is capable of.

Yesterday I promised I would try to make some nice shots on the beach. But today it was quite a dull day as far as light was concerned - the sun was hardly to be seen, so I only have a few shots to share. First of all a shot of a seagull, showing you how dull the light was all day...

Than, some shells, to try and get some real nice bokeh effect in close-up. The light was dull, but I think the details aren't...

Here's a crop of the previous shot - the sand crystals suddenly look quite big...

As Paul McCartney sang: will you still need me, will you still feed me, when I'm...

A restaurant at the seaside isn't complete without some typical "sea" decoration. It was a bit of a dark corner, I used flash with this one.

This is my daughter's eye, cropped from a 38MP original close-up (thank you @detkodave for the inspiration :-)

And after a long day waiting for the sun, I thought it would be a nice idea to conclude with a nice and fresh glass of water ;-)

All originals are on the PureViewClub Photostream on Flickr once more. Hope you liked these shots, be sure I'm eagerly waiting to post some really interesting news as well.
